The Egg Carrier still floated in its watery grave off the coast of Station Square, totally abandoned by its creator. The airship now listed to one side a little, and spots of rust covered parts of its hull and decks, despite the efforts of the remaining cleaning bots that still functioned.
Silver, still carrying a dream worldified Amy set down on the upper deck just aft of the bridge.

 Metal landed beside him, eyeing the abandoned airship with noticeable discomfort. His memory files couldn't bring up any record of him being in this place, and yet... It gave him a strange sense of deja vu. "Sho whag are youg plannig to do?" the smaller robot glanced down at Amy. "Anb furgermore, exactly how ish it youg plag to attracb Sonic?" He sniffled briefly. |

"Plans are on hold at the moment while I assess the damage to this ship's communication system, if any," Silver told Metal, he then headed for the entrance to the bridge, "Please see that Miss Rose does not leave, as she is still needed."

Metal scowled. He didn't like taking orders from anyone other than Eggman anymore than he liked the circumstances he was now in. He looked down at Amy and narrowed his eye. Unfortunately, as far as he was concerned, he was still on his assignment, and would go along for the moment. "Fine," growled. He placed his eyes back on Silver, waiting for him to leave so he could contact Eggman about this development. |

As soon as Amy was set down, she snapped out of her daydream, but was careful not to show it. She was going to think things through this time. She let out a mental sigh of relief when the tall one left; two robots may have been a little much. Still pretending to be spaced-out, the hedgehog danced around in a small circle, taking in her surroundings and re-familiarizing herself with the old Carrier she'd visited a while back.

On the bridge, Silver imidiatly plugged into the main control console. Seconds later, the ships surviving systems whirred to life. Outside the other two could see the green glass covered engine began to move again. Inside several damaged consoles began to spark, but a quick systems check revealed that the two systems SIlver needed worked fine.

Watching her closely, Metal found himself becoming increasingly disturbed by her behavior. He glanced down at his arm and back at her, brow furrowing. Okay, that behavior was not gonna do. There was no way he was gonna be able to communicate with Eggman and keep his attention on her at the same time like this. Amy saw the claw coming and, assuming it worked in much the same way as Silver's did, simply leaned out of its way. Unfortunately, "out of its way" happened to be the same direction as "right into Robo Knuckles." Amy squeaked and summoned another hammer, swinging it at the Teen Red Titan's shoulder.

Metal pulled himself to his feet and lightly dusted himself off. Ugh, all the scuffs in his armor. This was going to be a nightmare to polish... Shaking his mind free of that concern, he still had a report to make, and as long as RK was here, he could handle her. He glared at the two for a moment, then turned to walk down the hall away from where RK, Amy and Silver were. "YEEAUGCHOO!" Metal paused, seething angrily. "AUUGH!" he screeched, ramming a fist into the wall and leaving a deep impression of his fist there. He was absolutely sick and tired of this damn virus already! How long would he have to endure this?! He stood there a moment, eyes glowing brightly as he worked on getting his temper back under control. Finally his eyes subsided back to their normal intensity and he continued walking. Content that he was out of immediate hammer/throwing/hitting/shocking/whatever-else distance, he initiated his internal com-link. <Status reporb, my Liegsh,> he paused, <... Amy flailed aimlessly in RK's grip. She recognized him now; this was that guy from the race all those years ago. She couldn't fight him and Metal at the same time. Amy growled. What she needed right now was... backup!

"Waaaaah! Lemmedownlemmedownlemmedown! You big meanie, you are so gonna get it! The second you put me down I am gonna knock that tin can you call a head right off!
