Midi leaned back so she could get a better look out the window. Did those trees just... She shook her head. Okay, she was blaming that on hunger.

Wolivier saw it too. "Wow, talented isn't he?" She smiled then nudged Saul. "So what do you think you were doin hangin back like that? This is your pack.. or... group isn't it? Friends?" Then she looked at Midi. "Like her?"
Wolivier pulled Saul over to Midi and said, "Sorry again about the food. If i wasn't on a journy myself i'd help you look for your friend Twenty Seven... Anyways! He (she nudged Saul) wants to talk to ya!"

(Saul) "Uh, yeah, but there are times when I just... you know... wouldn't want to get involved."
Saul glances at Midi, who'd gone crazy earlier over the mention of food.

"Nonsense!" Wolivier smiled. "This isn't something that you need to get involved in. It seems to me this is just somewhere where you guys are havin fun!" She patted him on the back a few times then looked up again.
"Seems Sora's still not done," Wolivier sighed to Midi, walking away to talk to others too.

Blinking once, Ray looked past Sonic's shoulder, arching an eyebrow as the biplane launched off the cliff. "That kid was mentionin' your name," he said with a fidget. "Are you supposed to be going with him?" Ray hiccuped again. Man, I need some coffee.

Wolivier looked at Ray after she let Midi and Saul do whatever. 'I hope he's alright,' she thought, watching the squirrle fidget and twitch. She was a bit afraid to near him dince he was talking to someone else and all.
She looked at Sonic and sighed. 'Everyone knows him. I bet he's been around friends his whole life...' She envied him then looked out the window at the plane which was dissappearing into the distance.

As Saul watches the whole thing, his cell phone suddenly rings, and he answers it.
"Hello? ... You're WHO? ... Impossible! This must be a mistake! ... All right, I'll be over right away."
Saul hangs up.
"Er... I have to go. Apparently someone has a lawsuit pending against me for stalking, or something."
With that, Saul roller-skates away from the rest of the group. If only he knew that the call was a prank...

Sonic's ear twitched, and he noticed the Tornado flying off into the distance. OMG! What is he doing?! he thought to himself as he saw Tails blasting away. "I need to go! I gotta find out where he's going! Coffee's inside Ray!!" With that, he ran into the lab, picked up the communicator and contacted Tails in the Tornado. "Tails! Buddy, where are you going??" Sora had just finished the sandwiches! He came out holding a tray of smoked turkey BLTs! "Here we go guys! They are warm, take care."

Ray grunted and planted his feet into the ground as Sonic took off, managing to stand up to the vortex of wind the hedgehog left behind. He let out a flat sigh; that kind of strain was a little too familiar. But he was still having a caffeine withdrawal, and scurried quickly to the workshop to satisfy his craving. Gulping anxiously as he glanced at the unfamilar faces, Ray's gaze drifted along until he found the coffee machine, and luckily some filters right beside it. He inched his way past the strangers in the room and darted for the coffee grounds, a huge smile finally crossing his face for the first time all day. Despite the shaking of his hands, Ray managed to start the coffee maker and hopped anxiously from foot to foot, ignoring the spilled coffee grounds that littered the counter and floor. "COFFEECOFFEECOFFEEEEEEEEEEEEE."

Midi snatched up a sandwich. "Thank you!" she said happily and bit in. Glancing over at ray she screwed her mouth to one side. "Hey Spaz, I hope you plan on cleaning that up."

Wolivier laughed a little, grabbing a sandwhich too. "Thank you Sora, these are great." She smiled politely then walked over to Ray, picking up the beans. "Whenever I got that hyper, my dad would hold me down with his paws on my back until I calmed down. I hope you know that coffee can stun your growth!" She put a hand on his shoulder then said, "Maybe you should drink milk or water?"

Ray shifted uncomfortably and edged backward a couple of steps. "Maybe-- *hic* --later," he replied, eyeing the stream of coffee draining into the waiting pot. "My-- *hic* --head already hurts. I nee-- *hic* --need some caffeine so it'll-- *hic* -- go away." By now the pot was half full, and the squirrel began looking around for a cup. Although if I can't find one, he thought, I'll drink it right out of the pot!

Wolivier grabbed him and pulled him around the kitchen with her. She found a motrin then took him to the sink. She popped the pill into his mouth, turned on the water and poured some into her cupped/gloved hand. She spilled it into his mouth and made him swallow. "There. Now your head won't hurt! You wouldn't be so hyper if you didn't try and fight off your addiction. Those are unhealthy." She grabbed two sandwhichs before Midi ate them all and handed one to him. "Eat healthy!" She giggled, nudging him.

Wolivier smirked then began to laugh. "He's like a child huh?" She shook her head then flipped the coffee pot off. She turned around then sighed. "He going to fight me?" she almost giggled. "For coffee... oh... and you can call me Wolivier, like I said. No callin me Wool for short though. And my life? Been okay." She waited for something to happen.

As soon as Wolivier had started pulling, Ray was already screaming at the top of his lungs. Every limb thrashed and flailed wildly. He seemed to be screaming to be released, but the desperation of it all kind of blurred out individual words. As he was forced to consume the medicine, the Ray choked on the water he wasn't expecting and coughed hard. In a complete panic, the squirrel jerked forcefully away and darted to the other side of the room, turning over a table and chairs in the process, making a beeline for the coffee pot. At last something clear rang out: "I NEED IT!!!"

Wolivier's smile widened dangerously, her wolf fangs showing. "Hey hey, now!" she called, following him about, kicking things back up with her legs and tail. She skidded under him, grabbing his feet and pulling him down. She flipped him over in a flash, pressing down on his spine with her knee and one hand then rubbing his shoulder with the other. "Your headache will go away if you chiiill. It wasn't poison you know..."

Ray kicked and screamed frantically, struggling to get loose of his captor. Between withdrawals and the noise, his headache had progressed to a migraine, and tears were beginning to brim his eyes as his breaths grew ragged.

She frowned, rubbing his shoulder still. "You're making it worse..." she muttered. "I met someone who was only this high," she said, putting her hand out only about four feet over the ground. "He drank three cups of coffee every hour, no joke! All he offered me when i asked him for a place to stay was coffee coffee. It was scary! I don't want someone like you to go like that! You look like a fun person!" she explained. She realized everyone was pretty much staring and blushed. "Listen," she whispered in his ear. "You're going to get headaches without coffee every few minutes one day due to all this.. coffee. You don't want that, do ya?" she asked, patting his head lightly, realizing the word 'coffee' was loosing it's meaning.

A pair of hands suddenly reached out, grabbing the wolf by the shoulders and yanking her away from the hyperventilating squirrel. " LEAVE HIM ALONE!" Midnight snarled. "Who in the name of Chaos do you think you are grabbing some stranger and thinking you can tell him how to run his life?! And SHOVING THINGS IN HIS MOUTH?! I could have you arrested for that, buster! What, were you raised by freaking CAVEMEN?!" She snarled, her fangs bared widely as she glared. Just what kind of holier-than-thou idiot was this?! How dare this person try to manhandle one of her friends!

Even though the wolf had been pulled from his back, Ray remained still and quiet on the floor, having already fainted with fright.

Wolivier growled at the bat, fangs gleaming purposly now. "I was NOT raised by such. I was raised by my father in caves. This was how i learned to live!" she barked out. Then her eyes widened and she settled herself, taking a deep breath. "Yes, i was raised like that. I'm not used to how you guys work around here! Just letting people go like.. that.. I mean, can't you at least try and do something for him? That seems so dangerous living in such a hyper way! He fell out of a tree the first time I saw him!" She sat back, staring at Ray who lied still on the floor. "I'm sorry, alright?" She glanced at Sora. "You don't have to help me if you don't want to." She turned, stepping outside and sitting behind the tree she had first hid from everyone.
((if my character's actions count off my karma or anything, sorry about that. i lost 2 karma and i don't know why so... yeah. :\ ))

"Oh, right, you're not used to things around here. Yeah, that sounds like a PERFECTLY ACCEPTABLE excuse! I'm SURE that whatever little rock you crawled out from people were in the habit of GRABBING COMPLETE STRANGERS and shoving for all I know could be poison down their throats!" Midi was absolutely furious, grunting under her breath as she watched the wolf leave. "And just what the hell are you talking about?! I didn't agree to help you with anything!" Still fuming, she turned her focus toward the now downed squirrel and huffed. " Chaos, what is wrong with some people." she muttered, approaching Rat and patting him gently in the cheek in an effort to wake him.

((i think i lost karma for "godding" the character too much. my bad i'm sorry! i didn't realize it. *waves hands about*))
I can't belive how strange this place is. it's like a whole other world.... wolivier thought. Her ears perked and she caught midi's words. She frowned, not caring to do anything about it. "But it's true..." she told herself. "If we found someone like that... that's what we'd do... i didn't mean to cause harm..." she sighed. Then she looked up, realizing complaining wouldn't solve anything. She stood up, pulled herself into the tree onto one of the highest branches and closed her eyes. "I hope that Fox is okay.." She twisted around for comfort, glancing over at the workshop. "I thought i could make a few friends. Seems I blew it... Ahh and note to self: let people live how they were raised wether it's troublsome or not. Sometimes, the way you were raised, can be worse..."

A fuzzy image slowly came into Ray's vision as he drifted back to consciousness. It was a few moments before he realized that it was Midnight, and a few more yet before he remembered that he'd been attacked (as he perceived it) by that wolf. Ray's eyes immediately filled with fear and he tried to get up and flee for the safety of his treehouse... but the pounding of his head put a stop to that at once, and instead he rolled over onto his side with a sick-sounding groan, hiding beneath the flaps of fur below his arms.

"Hey, you okay there?" Midi poked at the squirrel. Screwing her mouth to one side she began fumbling around for a coffee cup. She didn't really approve of his addiction either, but whatever. Now wasn't the time to badger him.

Ray seemed to have calmed down again, and peeked timidly from beneath his furry membranes. The workshop had become quiet and still. The squirrel sighed with relief. Pushing himself upright, Ray rubbed his aching eyes and looked up to Midnight. "Is it safe here?"

A bit more fumbling finally led the bat to finding where the cups had been mysteriously hidden. Pouring the awful tasting substance she detested she shoved it under the squirrel's nose and headed back to her sandwich. "Yeah, all clear. No boogeymen gonna jump out."

Realizing what his neighbor was handing him, the squirrel grabbed feverishly for the cup, gulping down his much desired beverage. It burned on the way down, but Ray couldn't have cared less. At long last, the caffeine his body craved! His migraine almost instantly cleared -- or at least he thought it did, as it could've easily been a placebo effect. He downed the entire cup at once, then let out a long sigh. Rising to his feet, he smiled widely at the bat, but had already started shaking from such a sudden caffeine buzz. "Thank you, Midi!!"

Wolivier began to open her eyes later. She blinked then stretched a little. She looked out across the never ending forests and jungles ahead. She looked to the sky, searching for that island which, even if she spotted it, she wouldn't know how to get there. "I was kinda a jerk, huh?" she told herself.
"Yeah, pretty much..." she continued.
"Aren't you going to apologize?"
"Why? So that bat can bite my head off?... Now that's just rude of me. I was the jerk and she was... sticking up for her friend..."
"Against you?"
"Against me."
"So apologize."
"....maybe... Man I need to stop that." She lurched forward, but kept onto the tree. something kept her from jumping down and saying sorry. Was it guilt? Was it her being shy? Or was it that she didn't want to seem like she was just trying to get a chance back at finding the island?
Wolivier shook her head, dragging her fingers through it. "Didn't that one guy i met in the city tell me to take a bath...? Isn't that stealing to take it?" She licked her hand and pressed down her hair. "Well if i'm going to apologize, i might as well clean my hair in a pond or something. Even if it is to that... a squirrle wasn't he? And that bat too. I bared my fangs to someone who was innocent and that's a great offense. I had no right to do it." She recited as if she was talking to her father after telling a lie. Then she lept down and headed for a small pond.
