"..." Well, it COULD have been the wall, he supposed. He switched his eyes over to night vision. "...Greetings Facade"

"..." It was at that point that the lights started to glow back to life, growing in brightness until they reached a satisfactory level of illumination. "Back up generato rs online. Dail y diagnostic int errup ted," came over the radio, the jumbled mishmash of a female voice that belonged to the resident AI, HOPE. "A nomaly detected o n Level B" Level B, of course, being the one that everyone was currently on, and the anomaly, of course, being the portal that had just came and gone.

"...Kill that wolf..." Inari muttered as he got back to his feet. The backup generators wouldn't provide near enough power to get the portal opened again. That meant it was time to look into aquiring an...alternative power source. "Facade...find everyone you can and gather in the main lab," he told the experiment before pulling his hood up and sweeping off. In a few moments he'd arrived at Anansi's room. "Anansi! You need to hack into the..." he trailed off, noticeing that she was slumped over, plugged into her computers. With a small growl, he stalked over and forcibly shut down the computers. "I see Lance isn't the only one who needs to have his priorities straightened, but that can wait. I need you to..." he noticed that she still was motionless. "WAKE UP!" he roared, backhanding her across the face with his flesh hand. When all this did was knock her into a different position, he raised an eyebrow. "...What the heck?" Turning the computers back on, he jacked in himself and checked her recent activities. After a few seconds, the rage he'd had at Lance returned, but this time focused at a certain spider. "YOU ARROGANT MEDDLING BUG!!!" he roared, jacking out and yanking Anansi's still form up onlt to belt her accross the face again. "I'd kill you right now but it's not worth it with you not here to feel it! Very well, I do this my self then..." he said, jacking back in and making his way through the internet.m

The chimera nodded, then disappeared from sight again as he slipped off to find the others. Through the security cameras, HOPE watched quietly. It would of been easier for Inari to of asked 'her' to gather the others, since it'd only take use of the cameras and the intercoms, but... whatever. And then, seeing him knock around her creator, Anansi... HOPE's rage boiled quietly, and she pondered hot to get back at Inari in ways that were not too overt.

Inari's eyes seemed to glaze over as he linked himself with the network. "HOPE, access GUN network infiltration files and give me the most likely probabilities for the latest sattelite uplink codes, priority on access to spy sattelites."

For a moment, HOPE considered telling Inari to 'say please', but that would be pushing it, instead, she simply replied "If th at's wh at you want, fine then." Meanwhile, the Chimera was searching the base for the other DLers. It seemed like a lot of them were missing. Where'd they all go?

In the same place Lance had vanished earlier another portal appeared, dumping out what seemed to be the familiar teal wolf. Lance grunted in pain as the fresh cut on his back was agitated and looked around in confusion. From what he could tell he was in some sort of dark hallway, in a building he didn't recognize. One conclusion sprang into his mind. "Aw hell."

Hooked into the computer like he was, Inari only vaugely heard the other Lance's arrival. "Would you people keep it down, I'm trying to concentrate!" he growled over the base's comm system.

Working on the task Inari had given her, the computer supplied the first few things that came up, providing more as she gained access. Also noticing the sudden portal appearance on the base, and Lance's return, she mentioned nothing to Inari. He hadn't asked, and she wasn't going to bother telling him... Having been scuttling across the ceiling of the very hallway Lance appeared in, the chimera dropped suddenly in front of the wolf, decameoing himself as he did so, then gestured (with more then one limb) towards the main lab. He tilted his head slightly as he did so... Lance looked a bit... different.

"... AUUGH WHAT THE HELL!" Lance yelped, springing to his feet in record time and backing himself up away from the strange looking creature. Not sticking around long enough to study Facade in detail, Lance turned and bolted down the hallway. Strange looking creatures dropping from the ceiling in what looks like the inside of a building in Robotropolis (albeit cleaner, but he was too preoccupied to notice that)? No thanks.

Starting to feel the veins in hsi forehead pulse in anger, Inari disengaged from the computer to deal with the distraction. Besides, he'd gotten enough of what he was looking for to move on anyway. Throwing his hood back up he stalked out in the hallway. "Do you people not understand when someone is informing you to SHUT UP, or were you always missing that part of your brains?" He asked as he stepped out in the hall. He turned and stopped short when he saw Lance...and yet not Lance, for there were more cybernetic parts attached to him than when he had last seen the wolf, not to mention that, unless Lance had taken up dying it recently, he wasn't supposed to have brown hair either. "...I take it you're also from over there?" He asked Lance rhetorically. "Please don't be as much of an imbecile as the other one..."

Oh. It wasn't the chimera knew, but one of those other-world people. The chameleon chimera shrugged, faded away again, and scuttled off to find the other DL members. Meanwhile... the computer was amused.

Cue the sound of wall scuttling changing directions and darting off towards the wolf! And cue the sound several pounds of flying octopus/chameleon/snake hybrid flying through the air in a pounce! ... Whatever that sound is. Maybe a 'FWISH'. [dice=6] (TACKLE CHECK.) [rand=4971178818726891320022960049024291347971709771756505976856011686]

[dice=6] DENIED. The sounds of hearing something heavy slam into the ground behind him didn't help his sense of urgency. Skittering around a corner he hastily ripped the cover off a vent and was about to leap inside when he not only realized the inside was a lot smaller than he was accustomed to seeing... were... were those razorblades lining the inside?! He quickly backed away, snatching the vent cover back up and carrying it with him as he bolted down the hall. He looked around to either side quickly trying to orient himself. Picking a poor off to the side he bolted inside hoping for some kind of warehouse or something he could hide in. What he found was a pitch black room. It only took a moment for his mechanical eye's night vision to flick on, and he realized then that he was standing inside some kind of... bathroom?[rand=53640902530942675286852236303384912877027095414744032699725147806]

Shifting back into view, and revealing himself to be tangled up in his own limbs, Facade struggled to free himself. [dice=2] (1- pass, 2- fail) Nope. Somehow, he managed to actually tie knots into his tentacles. He turned a dark shade of red at this.[rand=9955263420379598611605220119898335139177141012057509991426621917]

Inari just facepalmed as he walked past the downed genetic experiment. "This is going to be one of those days..." "You might as well surrender yourself," Inari called to Lance as he approached the bathroom the wolf had ducked into, "You've just backed yourself into a corner, so there's no where for you to go."

Okay, he had to admit it. A bathroom in Robotropolis was a pretty strange sounding thing. And... did... did he smell potpourri of all things?! Lance frowned. Pressing himself up against the wall beside the door, he snarled quietly as he began ripping the teeth from the vent cover away from one side of its base and bending them back to create some sort of crude slashing weapon. "Where am I?" he demanded.

In response, Inari lifted his robotic arm, extended the laser cannon built into his forearm, and shot a blast just to the right of Lance's head that left a small smoking hole in the wall behind him. "You seem to lack an understanding of how this works. You are the intruder, therefore you surrender quietly, you're put into your cell, and then if I'm feeling generous I might allow a question or two."

Lance jumped a bit. Was that shot aimed or something?! That was way too close for comfort! Okay, potpourri or not, he was in hostile territory. And he was trapped. Great job, Silverpaw.Welp. There was only one reasonable way to handle this situation. The door swung open and Lance stood there with his arms in the air, grinning sheepishly. "How can I refuse an offer like that?"

"Quiet," Inari snapped, though whether to Lance or the computer it was unclear, and didn't really matter. He stepped back a tad to allow Lance to exit the bathroom, and gestured with his free arm in the direction of the holding cell.

To which Lance didn't immediately respond. A torrent of confusion was currently washing over his face as he stared down at the shorter wolf. At first it took him a moment to realize he was actually staring at a cyborg. Most of his body was concealed under a black robe, but what he could see was that his eyes and visible arm were mechanical. The next thing to strike him was, well... his size. He wasn't even completely sure this guy was actually a wolf and not a fox, and of course the robe didn't help. He was easily the shortest wolf he'd ever seen. "You've gotta be kidding me," he said. I could knock this guy's block off EASILY.

"I assure you that there is no kidding involved. Now I suggest we move along...or we could move this to the diagnostic lab instead. I wouldn't mind using you to document the differences between roboticized subjects...even if the process didn't appear to have completed in you."
