Wither Honey realized it or not, she was lucky the pink hedgehog realized something was not quite right.
"Isn't obvious what he's doing here? SOMETHING EVIL! AND I, HONEY CAT, AM HERE TO STOP IT!" Honey posed dramaticly, then lunged again for Metal Sonic.
"FEEL THE WRATH OF JUSTICE, METALIC FIEND!"

Gravity Wells were amazing devices. A well is typically a hole in the round for holding water. And as such, presumably Gravity Wells were holes in the gound that hold gravity. This wasn't quite correct though, as gravity is an intangible object. The devices were actually Sonic disruptors by all technical means. Much in the way that speakers uses magnets to emit waves of sound, so did the Gravity wells do the same, only on a much greater scale. By emitting a particular frequencey of bass vibrations, gravity itself would actually be pushed back, and to compensate, in the rise of the wave gravity would push forward slightly harder. With the constant push and pull from the sound vibrations, concrete, glass, buildings, anything close by would become a giant sound amplifyer until it cracked and broke from the intense vibrations. The places where the devices were set would puls out gravity like a well sputs water, hence how the term cam to be. They were among Dimitrov's more clever devices. Small, inconspicuous, and easily hidden among a rampaging crowd with a battle in the center. Dimitrov equipped his chair with three of these devices before exiting his trailer squealing, "Help me! it's Metal Sonic! We're all doomed!" He fit right in with the rest of the panicked masses and as he rolled away he'd arrived at the first spot to place a gravity well. The first spot was next to a newspaper stand and a waste-basket on the corner. The Second location would be in the diner, and the third was unfortunately where the Metallic Hedge hog was in combat. "I'll stop back by the diner to hide away, then if anyone is there, perhaps I can convince them to do my dirty work for me." His thought reflected on the diner. Hermie the Mole was unconcious, presumably dead from an overdose, the staff had all fled, the Cat was gone, the Lynx looked too dangerous to trust. However, there was that lobster. Lobsters liked water, this Dimitrov knew. "I'll get that lobster to take a dip in the ocean, and give him my special chemical concoction of pollutants, mutanagens, and toxins to take with him. And he'll not know any better either." Yes, things seemed to be running too smoothly, and Talon excpeted interference would come soon. "I must act quickly. My luck will be catching up with me soon, and this plan is too good to fail. A week of polluted waters here at the coastline before it dillutes, concrete damage and oil spills will take a week or two to repair, and I'll have that Metal Sonic in my possesion. I can study him on my way to Casino Nights, then drop him there. I must make haste!"

"I was trying to relax unti--" he paused and dimmed his eyes when Honey cut him off. He was actually telling the truth, but of course it was to be expected that no one would buy that. Having the advantage of already being airborne, he simply dodged again when the cat launched at him. He was having to restrain himself by this point not to swat at her out of frustration. "Ma'am, you are out of your league against me. Leave."

Honey went into a roll as she hit the ground and was back onto her feet in moments. "Out of my league...?" Honey was agast- the robot had insulted her! She sputtered in rage, and one of her eyes developed a twitch.
"OUT of my LEAGUE??"
Honey had more or less become anger personified. "I'LL SHOW YOU 'OUT OF MY LEAGUE!'" Honey launched herself at the robot again, this time intent on grabbing him and dragging him to the ground where the playing field was more level.

Honey wiggled out of his grasp and climbed up farther onto him, until she was more or less on top of his head, and still hitting, but now with the inclusion of kicking, and even more screaming.
"IS THIS OUT OF YOUR LEAGUE? HUH? HUH?"
She aimed a fist for Metal's eyes, hoping to shatter one and possible down the robot. [dice=6][rand=8321850413329156715244444698959257481879030161725621196581290813]

"WOAH!" At the robot's summersault, she lost her grip, unable to dig her claws into the robot's slick metalic surface and being launched uncomfortably into the ground.
She laid still for a few moments, seeing stars and suddenly thinking about how good creamsicles are.
Getting up she wearily shook it off and launched into another attack, unable to know when enough is enough.

Though Metal moved, he had kicked up, putting his leg right into Honey's fight path. With some arial acrobatics, Honey latched onto his leg instead of getting kicked in the head, and with the power of inertia, ended up kicking him in the back of the head instead.
Swinging from the robot hedgehog's leg, Honey began to do her best to tug Metal earthward.
"YOU GET DOWN HERE AND FIGHT HONEST!"

The lobster, obviously not made for combat, ducked underneath the restaurant table like the coward he was. "If I close my eyes they can't see me." He murmured nervously.
A chair crashed through the window and narrowly missed taking his head off. "I'M TOO YOUNG TO DIE!" He screamed, running towards the back door of the restaurant, hoping to make a speedy escape.

[dice=6] "I WOULD RATHER NOT FIGH--" WHAM. Honey's leg connected with the back of his head, SOMEHOW managing to miss his spikes entirely. He lurched forward off balance, then was suddenly jerked back as the damned feline attached herself onto his leg AGAIN. Unable to keep his equilibrium he finally went crashing to the ground. Metal made a series of grumbling and growling sounds as he pulled his face up from the dirt, glaring at Honey in utter fury. Honey had jumped off moments before Metal crashed, and stood a short distance away.
At the robot's angry question, Honey's eyes lit up and she struck a pose. If there was only a Japanese flag and some cherry blossoms, the moment would of been perfect.
"What do I want from you? I want PEACE! JUSTICE! HARMONY! TRUTH! I WANT YOU TO REALIZE CRIME NEVER PAYS, AND I WANT YOU TO SEE HOW WRONG YOU AND YOUR CREATOR HAVE BEEN SPREADING DARKNESS INTO PRISTINE LANDS, AND REPENT, AND COME TO THE LIGHT SIDE, TO JOIN THE PEOPLE IN HARMONY!"
Honey paused.
"Also, I want you to admit I'm in your league."

Metal's expression went deadpan as he listening to the feline ramble. He pulled himself up and began futilely trying to dust himself off; he was still mostly charred black on his front. It was going to take him forever to fix his paint job! At Honey's accusations, one of the metallix's eyes flickered. "I was NOT doing anything wrong!" Well... he did steal that heater, but he certainly didn't make it EXPLODE!

With the first Gravity well in place, Dimitrov had made his way over to the diner. The Lobster was cowering beneath a table, obviously terrified. Dimitrov rolled over to the poor creature. "Excuse me sir. I see you are frightened and worried. May I ask you a question? Do you know the meaning behind involuntary servitude, and do you know what Meta-capacity polymer excretions are?"
Before the lobster heard Dimitrov say a single word though, it was racing out the door in terror. Dimitrov groaned and dropped the second gravity well. Then kicked on the afterburners pursuing the lobster. "Good sir! Please wait! Please!"

The pink hedgehog fidgeted with her hammer. She had a bit of a debt to repay to her once-kidnapper -- in the form of massive brain trauma -- but the way that cat was jumping around, she might hit her instead of the robot.
And yet despite herself, she was beginning to wonder what Metal Sonic WAS doing here. Apparently he hadn't been sent by Eggman. Usually he was much more focused and less prone to hissy fits when he was on a mission. Still, he'd caused an explosion, so he couldn't be up to any good. Well, she'd figure it out once she'd gotten even. Metal Sonic was yelling back at the cat now. "Look at me! Do you think I would try blowing MYSELF up?!"
"Maybe not, but I know someone who'd like to see it happen anyway!" Amy dashed past the cat and swung her hammer at the robot, aiming for the back of his knees.

A black hand Reaches out and grabs the pink Hedgehog's Hammer in mid swing, holding it along with her back.
"Two against one...that hardly seems fair...."
A cloaked black female grasps Amy's hammer as well as her hands grasped around it's handle. The Cloak covers most of the female's body, reavealing only her extended arm and her face, her arm is adorned with a golden wristbrace and upwards covered in wrappings, the right side of Her face covered with long black bangs showing only one Icy blue eye peering down at amy.[rand=702544137649608067768344902057460969025848041346604350652269464572]

Metal seethed quietly to himself, desperately battling his own frustration in an effort to calm himself down. It was hard to focus on anything wen he felt as ridiculous as he did! And, of course, it seemed he wasn't going to be given a moment to rest as he prepared to dodge Amy's hammer... and then something unexpected happened. A new person stepped into the fray and stopped the pink terror. For the briefest of moments Metal was dumbstruck. Then, finding his bearings, quickly began to run a scan on the stranger; nothing. It wasn't anyone he recognized. His eyes narrowed in suspicion. "I do not require assistance." the robot said stubbornly, still keeping on eye and his adversaries. Nevermind his earlier yelling and general appearance might have screamed otherwise.

"THEIF!" Dimitrov called out. "SCOUNDREL! INGRATE! You have tried to steal one of my heating columns! do you know how bad that is? Not to mention rupturing the core with you....METAL BODY!" Everyone's attention seemed to be turning. Dimitrov let a few fat tears fall from his eyes. An easy feat for any reptile, a reaction to getting sand in ones eyes, and also a great way to look like you're crying, or about to....
"My inventions are for the good of the world, and here you are tossing them around shamefully, and stealing them no less! Don't think I don't have secruity cameras set up! And now you are destroying Station Square! MONSTER! INGRATE!"
A moving performance. The lobster had moved too quickly for the wheelchair to follow, and unfortunately led Dimitrov close to the action. he had caught sight of the last of the exchange and saw a time to bein phase two. Besides, he needed to drop a well in the center of the battle to suceed in rupturing the oil lines. A test of luck he was almost ready to do. Then during the commotion of the wells detonating, he could just as easily, but not as inconspicuously, launch the canister of pollutants from the right arm of his chair. Thing were speeding up. Geting to be too fast for him. It might have been time to pull the plug and get away, but the goal was so close, and irresitible. "Just a little longer. I'm so close." Dimitrov awaited the responses.

As Metal Scans the newcomer he sees no signs of her being a robot, however he can detect fair amounts of electromagnetic activity around her body, concentrating in her right side.
She looks up at metal, "quite...." The tone in her voice suggested that she still had thoughts otherwise, the thought it was quite obvious from his little wrestling match with the overzealous kitten and the thick layer of char across his body.
"but if this is a battle of pride then i shall not interfere...."
She lets go of amy's hammer and takes a step back,
"lets just hope that those little girls don't add dents to those char marks of yours....."
She turns and eyes the "Good" Dr. Just the person who she was looking for.

Oh it just kept getting better and better. Metal growled in agitation at the accusations; even if he had been under some kind of order to attack Eggman would never intentionally destroy a city! The metallix then seethed at that jackal woman's comment. Ugh, why didn't he just leave when he had the chance?!

Amy puffed out her cheeks at the jackal's "little girl" comment. This wasn't going well. At least the yelling man had the right idea.
"Right," she said, resting her elbow on the Pico Pico's handle. "If anyone ELSE has any reason why my hammer should not be imbedded in this robot at massive speeds, speak now or forever hold your peace."

(Amy is scary. o.o) "Before we get hasty now, and try to kill each other, I am prepared to hear the Metal creature's side of this story." Dimitrov rolled slowly up to metal Sonic, winding his way closer and around him at the same time. The spiral like patter he drove in would land him at the perfect spot. He just needed to keep talking and hope no one would notice. Luckily, placing the wells did not require direct interference from anyone, but he would have to get awfully close, a very brave thing for a crippled lizard in a wheel chair. A little too brave perhaps, but Dimitrov hoped his sweet mouth would soften the risk. "As a person I am apalled that anyone would want to steal anything...but as a scientist, I am fascinated that this creature seems to have made the desicion alone. That sort of intelligence is not artificial, it is actual. If you all would stand down for a moment, I would like to hear this creature's story, and make amends any way I can. Perhaps he is not so violent that he would harm a poor crippled man." And his wheelchair stopped. He was squarely in front of the creature. Drilling into the ground to place the well would make noise, so he'd keep them talking. Its eyes had infared and X-Ray scanners, he could tell my the LED indicator lights below the glassy eye covers. "He'll be watching me." And Dimitrov lowered his wheel chair to the ground, obscuring his operation with the machinery inside the chair. "Go on, Metal. Tell us all."

Though Honey was quite sure Metal had been up to no good, the idea of letting the robot have his say seemed... fair. And fairness was something Honey held in very high regard.
She glanced over at the pink hedgehog, who didn't seem to hold this to as high esteem as her, and seemed very eager to reduce the robot to scrap.
"What could it hurt, to hear what he has to say? Maybe he does have a good excuse..."
Of course, Honey didn't know that's exactly what the wheelchaired old man wanted, and that it could, in fact, hurt very much if his plan were to be fruitful.
