Dash ran blindly down the streets of Station Square, unaware of where he was heading and not caring either- in fact, the only thing he was actually aware of was the startling amount of pain he was in. And due to his blind charging, he hadn’t realized when he’d entered a dead ended alley until he ran into said dead end. He stumbled backwards from the impact, head swimming with pain, collapsed, curled into ball and whimpered pitifully as his body continued it's agonizing change from living being to robot. Bogert arrived into the alley a short while later, coming to a halt and frowning at the sight before him. That had certainly not been what he wanted to see. Apparently, he must of overlooked something in his deroboticizer- he suspected he might of, but... he'd figure it out later. Right now, he has this crisis to deal with. "I'm sorry Dash, I didn't think this would happen..." However, the tenrec didn't seem to notice or hear him, and his pain filled whimpers changed gears to weeping. Bogert continued to frown, feeling quite guilty for the pain the tenrec was in. But what could he do but wait?

Only moments later, a cyborg rabbit came bolting down the alley and skidded to a halt before the two at the dead end. She looked between the two in wild concern "Why are ya'll standin' there like that?!" she blurted at Bogert before she collapsed to her knees before the pitiful little ball that was Dash, reaching her hands out in some attempt to comfort or steady him. Her ears twitched in surprise however when she heard what sounded like her metallic hand being placed down on another metal surface. In an almost surreal moment, her eyes drifted to the arm she had grabbed to find herself holding another metallic appendage. Her eyes drifted slowly over to his face, noticing that part of it was now made of metal, and the longer she stared, the more she noticed that the gleaming surface seemed to be... growing quickly. Reality crashed back down onto her, and she let off a startled gasp, pushing herself back and covering her mouth with both hands in absolute horror "W-what's happenin' to him?!" she uttered, snapping her attention to the android with a frantic look "Bogert! W-what's happenin'?!"

"Dash!! Dash, you've got to stop!!" Leda huffed as she brought up the rear, immediately dropping to his other side upon her arrival. The pangolin blinked in shock; for a moment she seemed to have absolutely no response. Am I dreaming? she silently asked herself, staring in disbelief at her cherished tenrec. This can't be real!! It CAN'T be real!!
But another loud cry of anguish from Dash quickly defeated that idea, and Leda's heart leapt into her throat. "D-Dash!! Dash, what...?! WHAT...?!" Panicked tears began to gather in her eyes. What was happening?? How could she possibly help him?? Was he even going to live?! Terrified at the thought, Leda Rae fell forward and embraced him tightly, whether he was made of metal or not. "DASH!!!"

Bogert sighed. Wonderful, he hadn't been the only one to chase after the tenrec... now things were even more complicated. "When he told everyone that he isn't who they thought he was, it was true. And when I said that he came from a place where fish flew and people were changed into robots, it was also true. I know as I've been there, and I've tried to create a machine that would undo the effects of the robot making machine. Apparently I'd over looked something as... well, you can see for yourself." He gestured at the tenrec in the pangolin's arms and shook his head as he said all this. He shouldn't of underestimated the technology- it'd obviously been a bit more complicated then he first believed... now the one that'd trusted him was paying for it. He'd have to make up for it... The tenrec suddenly began to squirm in Leda’s embrace, and soundlessly gasped and clawed for air. Apparently, the spread of the mechanization had taken away his ability to breath, distracting him from his pain. However, this panic was only temporary, as only a very short while later he no longer needed breathe. Unfortunately, (or fortunately, depending on one’s view), the process had completed itself and he was once again fully mechanical. However, things weren’t exactly as they were before- before, his programming had been in an altered state, where he had (though through accident) been allowed his own will. With this ‘re’roboticization, the programming had been more or less reset to default- and, once again, he had no power whatsoever over his body. The robian glanced around at the people present, his gaze stopping on the rabbit next to him. The programming recognized her- or at least, her alternative version back in the other dimension. Of course, the programming cared nothing of alternative dimensions, and why should it? It's never been an issue before... all it knew was that this girl resembled a known Freedom Fighter and enemy of the master. Appropriate measures would have to be taken. So, with a rather feral (though mechanically distorted) growl, he lunged towards her- paying, apparently, no attention to the pangolin clinging to him. “ FREEDOM FIGHTER! CAPTURE ON ORDER OF ROBOTNIK!” Even worse luck...

Bunnie looked up at Bogert with a bewildered expression as he explained the situation "You mean... ya'll weren't just..." She snapped around when the robian suddenly growled, and when he lunged her eyes widened "Whoa nelly, sugah!" she cried out. She'd begun to make an attempt to bolt; but he had taken her by surprise and by the time she'd reacted he was now clinging to her legs. She hit the ground with a whoop and spun to face him "Hey there! Leggo of me!" she yelled, squirming as she began attempting to pry him off with her mechanical arm. And at that moment? Lance wandered into the alley, still munching on his food. He paused, blinking in surprise at the sight of the robot. Was that supposed to be Dash? Since when did the doc start making metallixes of the legionnaires? ... He felt vaguely jealous that Dash apparently had one and he didn't.

Leda stared up at Bogert with a mixed look of confusion and anger. Her mind desperately wanted to rip him a new one for such a horrible idea of a joke... but her eyes couldn't also be deceiving her. Dash had transformed right in her arms. Even if he really wasn't her Dash, she wouldn't wish something like this on anyone.
"Then how are we supposed to-- AURGH!!" All of a sudden the metallic tenrec shoved Leda aside as he attacked Bunnie. Though under normal circumstances she might've only been pushed back on her bum at worst, Dash's strength had increased staggaringly in his robian form, and the pangolin found herself tossed into the air completely -- and right into the adjacent brick wall. Letting out a short cry of pain, Leda Rae fell to the alley floor unconscious.

The mechanical tenrec made a move to strike the rabbot- but, however, was cut suddenly short when Bogert grabbed his arm. Nearly instantly, the robian's glowing red eyes flickered off and the machine went limp (at least, as limp as a machine could go). Having disabled the robian, Bogert lifted the mechanical tenrec off of Bunnie. "I'm very sorry about that!" He glanced over at the crumpled form of Leda as well, frowning deeply and wishing he'd stepped in sooner- Dash was his responsibility, and part of his own personal code was not to let others come into harm in reaction to his own doings... and at the moment, he'd inadvertently blown it... Bogert glanced down the alley, wondering about the ambulance Chuck had called... and spotted Lance. He frowned even more. "... hello. ... everyone seems to want to be in this alley today, eh?"

Bunnie just gaped wordlessly after the newly re-mechanized robian was lifted from her, trying desperately to wrap her mind around what she had just witnessed... what she had just been told... "So... so he's... and yer... But... but how did... why did he..." she went silent, her ears wilting. Subconsciously, she placed her organic hand onto her robotic arm and drew her knees closer to her. "Hey, when a pal of mine runs off shrieking I'm a little inclined to be concerned," the wolf said, strolling up to the human and poking the robian he held in the forehead, which ended up producing a metallic cling sound. He studied him over, head tilting slightly to one side "... Er, so, what's with the Dash metallix? Don't tell me I just fell for an imitation." He glanced over at Bunnie and Leda, arching his brow slightly.

Bogert gave Bunnie a worried glance before looking over towards Lance. [dice=2] (1= a lie, 2= the truth) "No, you haven't- well, you have fallen for an imitation, I suppose. This..." he nodded down to the robian in his arms, "is a version of the Dash you know from an alternative reality. In this reality there exists a machine that turns organic beings into mechanical ones. I was tempting to reverse the process, but apparently something didn't go as planned and he's reverted."[rand=8797135265360086858864003681903218100517638825766585290487408934]

And the wolf's brow hiked up even further as he turned his attention from the two girls to Bogert ".. Ugh. There's that sci-fi crap again. Chick I met earlier said she knew some alternate version of me," he poked at the robian a couple more times "... That's just creepy..." By now, Bunnie seemed to have regained at least some of her senses. She rose slowly to her feet, spotting Leda and scooting over to examine her. She looked up worriedly at Bogert after a moment "So... so what all do we do with him?"

Bogert ignored Lance, and instead turned again to Bunnie. "I'll try again and get it right the second time." He paused, then added, "Chuck called an ambulance... I believe Leda can receive care from them. I hope she didn't get badly hurt..." Didn't need more guilt, after all. Had enough on his plate.

Bunnie just frowned, glancing at Leda again before slowly shifting her feet and heading toward the alley's entrance "Looks like a nasty bump on her noggin', but seems fine besides..." she sighed "Ah should try to flag em if they ain't already gone by..." Lance... continued to scrutinize at the tenrec bot and poke at him.

"Please do, Bunnie. I'd greatly appreciate it. I'd also appreciate it if you didn't mention Dash..." And Bogert turned his attention to Lance, who was continuing to poke the immobilized mecha-rec. "..." Why the heck was he doing that anyway? What was the significance of repeatedly poking something? Checking a few records, Bogert came to the following conclusion: It was rude. "Please stop that."

"But it's weird!" the wolf said, insisting on continuing to poke "You're trying to con me into thinking this guy was normal before some contraption got him. How the heck does something like that even work?!"

"How much knowledge of technology do you have in general?"

"... Er. I've done work in auto-shop repair," he then looked up, giving a smart alec smirk "I've seen Stars Wars plenty of times too if that counts,"

Bogert frowned. Sure, that was mechanical knowledge, but not technological knowledge... so how should he explain how the roboticizer works to someone like that? "It's magic."

"No, I just don't believe you have enough technical knowledge to understand the explanation if I'd given it to you. It involves nanites, for one..."

Around that time the shrill whine of a siren began to fill the air. And unbeknownst to the group in the alley, the driver was growing increasingly perturbed. "I ought to have that crazy old coot arrested for false alarm... There's no one around here!"
"Just keep your eyes peeled," the woman in the passenger seat assured certainly, watching carefully out the side window. "Charles Hedgehog is an important figure in the community! He would never lie!"

"Ah!" Bunnie called out when she spotted the ambulance, waving her arm and running out of the alley "Here! Over here ya'll!" Lance's ear twisted and he frowned. And here comes the calvary. He glanced at the robian and inwardly cringed. Yeah, this didn't look like a very welcome scene for him. Conclusions were bound to be jumped between him and that robot. "Ah... Gotta go. Um. Hope your friend's alright. Later!" and with that he bolted toward the alley's opening and ran off.

"There, see?!" The young woman in the passenger seat pointed triumphantly as Bunnie came out to flag down the ambulance. "I told you Charles was trustworthy! Pull over!!"
The ambulance came to a stop, and the two EMTs hopped out shouting "HUT HUT HUT HUT HUT!!!". While the man that had been driving prepared the equipment in the truck, the woman rushed toward Bunnie with a first aid kit at the ready. "What's the problem?!"

Bogert watched as Lance ran off after glancing at the robian. Pondering over that, he came to an idea of why the wolf had fled... it’d be a good idea for him to take a few precautionary measures as well, lest someone ask about the tenrec. Before the ambulance folk arrived in the alley he took care to stow the still incapacitated robian behind a few garbage cans so he'd not be spotted. That taken care of, he folded his hands behind his back and waited to see out that Leda was taken care of.

"Back here," the rabbit said, quickly turning and leading the paramedic nurse back toward the fallen pangolin "It's a friend of mine, she's been knocked out cold!"

The paramedic's face hardened as she checked the unconscious pangolin over. "The good news is it doesn't look serious," she announced after a moment. "She'll probably just have a headache and a sore bump for a few days, but to err on the side of caution, I'd like to bring her in just to be sure there's no brain swelling." The EMT waved over her partner, who brought over a stretcher board. Upon securing Leda in place, the pair loaded her into the back of the ambulance. "Either of you two need any help, or want to go along?" the driver asked before shutting the back doors.

Bunnie nodded along to what the nurse told her. Then at the question she gave an uncertain glance over to Bogert accompanied by a frown. She glanced back "Ah'll go with ya'll. Leda's gonna need someone by her side when she comes to..."

Bogert nodded at what Bunnie said. Under normal conditions, he may of went himself... however, glancing back down the alley... he had other things he had to intend to. Maybe he'd send Leda a card?

"Alright then, come along with us, ma'am." Leading Bunnie back to the ambulance, everyone climbed aboard the truck. The sirens suddenly blazed back to life and let out an ear-splitting shriek as the ambulance took to the road once more and headed off to Station Square Hospital.

Bogert frowned at the threshold of the alley as he watched the ambulance speed away. Once it was out of sight, he sighed and turned once more and wandered back down the alley. He had things he had to take care of...
