@satamrouge@ Not that dimension hopping was ever something to be pleased about in the first place -- or at least unintended dimension hopping -- but this one a better ending for Rouge than her other experiences had. ... Well, better for her anyway.
Instead of the abrupt, often painful landings that usually greeted her on the far side of the portal, this time the bat landed on something much softer. It still aggravated her wounds, but not nearly as much as the hard and unforgiving floor would have.
Suddenly that soft cushion began to move. Rouge's eyes widened as she realized that she'd landed on another person. With a startled gasp she did her best to scramble backwards, but her injuries weren't really enabling to scrambling. It was then that she realized she was in... a kitchen.
Rouge's face filled with horror. Not only had she landed ON someone, but she'd landed in someone's private residence. Though a million thoughts raced through her head, all the bat could manage to sputter was, "I.... Ah-I'm sorry!!"

Well, Honey HAD been making herself meal- for the entire day, she’d barely eaten anything. And why had that been? Because she’d been watching the news. The entire day. So much she forgot to eat. … it happens sometimes. And then she just had a random bat drop on her head. Which, generally, wasn’t normal, and was grounds for investigation (and most especially so, since the sudden surprise had distracted her from the news she was listening to from the other room…). However, the sheer surprise of the advent left Honey’s questioning skills to the following level: “ Whaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa?!?” Hopefully, that got the point across.

@satamrouge@ "Letmeexplain!!" Rouge said quickly, holding up her one good arm defensively. "I know this sounds crazy, but... butI'mfromanotherdimensionandthisisallabigmistakeandIjustneedtogetintouchwithGUN!!"

Honey simply stared in confusion as the bat babbled- she was talking so fast the cat barely could tell what it was she was saying! However, she did pick up on the words ‘other dimension’ and ‘GUN’, and in doing so perked up. “YOU MUST BE FROM THAT ONE PLACE! I’ve heard about it on the news! Sorta… kinda… they don’t know much…” She blinked, suddenly realizing the condition her sudden house guest was in. “You’re hurt! Are you alright?? Is there anything I can do to help you?” And, with the last question, Honey’s expression flickered to one of anger- “ Who did this to you?”

@satamrouge@ A wave of relief washed over the once white bat (her fur currently looked a dull grey), and a releasing sigh escaped her lips. At least this time someone seems to already know the situation. Landing in someone's household is never the first choice, but... Rouge reflected over her last landing point and shuddered. ...It could most certainly have been worse.
"I'm okay," Rouge replied, bending the truth to help calm her companion. Though her wing and shoulder had been attended to, her left arm still lacked professional attention, and her back still stung from Metal's burns. The freedom fighter attempted to keep her injuries hidden behind Knuckles' cloak, but it was a futile attempt; it was clear the golden cat had already spotted them.
Changing the subject, Rouge rose to her feet and offered her hand to the stranger. "My name is Rouge. If you could just instruct me on how to contact someone connected with GUN, I'll be out of your residence right away..."

"... GUN?" Honey bit her lip, pondering. Where could she get into contact with GUN? Maybe the nearest police station, though, really... the girl looked more as if she'd be better off going to a hospital. "... I guess I can get you to GUN- but maybe we can stop by the hospital for your injuries? I'm sure they'd be able to help you there... I mean... I'd try myself but I don't know much first aid and..." She babbled for awhile like that, before once again stating, "... but I guess I can get you to GUN."

@satamrouge@ The bat's ears ducked behind her head at the mention of going to the hospital. "I'm sure I could benefit... My arm still hurts terribly... but I don't have any of your currency. GUN might help me when I get there, anyway."

"That's a good point, they'd probably help you out if you went there..." she nodded as she said this, as if agreeing to her own statement. She then wandered over to her kitchen stove, killing the flame to whatever it was she had been cooking at the time (the kitchen's fishy aroma, however, gave some suggestions of what). "I guess we should head right away then!...", she said as she turned, smiling broadly as she did so, "... by the way, my name's Honey Cat!"
