Ah. Negatropolis. Such a wonderful city. At least... from an outside appearance, the entire landscape came off as quite the regular city-wide location. There appeared to be much traffic in what appeared to be streets, and the airspace between all of the buildings residing within the city limits. Many of the skyscrapers were all very normal, coming in a variety of shapes and colors to dot the landscape. Upon further inspection, however, one would be surprised to find that the inhabitants trafficking about within this metropolis were composed of nothing more than many of Nega's robots, all in different shapes and sizes, each with functions unique to its design. Besides this fact, many of the structures in this bustling city were adorned with at least one large emblem that showcased Eggman Nega's trademark snow-white mustache and ski-goggles. It was pretty obvious to all that there was only one living inhabitant in this city. It was hard to pinpoint out exactly where the doctor could possibly have housed a base of operations. But, that is to say, it would only be impossible to find it amongst the surface... Ergo, the only other option? Hundreds upon hundreds of yards underneath the busy metropolis. The entire facility was quite vast, especially for someone like Eggman Nega; In nearly every room, every hallway, and every lab, there was a multitude of robots performing their daily tasks, such as constructing other brethren, cleaning and repairing areas of the base, transporting important parts and tools to their designated areas, as well as other jobs. Further down, however, near the very bottom of the entire construct was a room that housed a very important object. It was to be the most likely place to find the madman... as he had much business to attend to in regards to his latest catch. Within a very spacious room, dimly lit from the ceiling, a table lay in the center, equipped with extremely powerful bonds. Within these bonds was none other than the robot from Nega's latest chaotic fiasco, Blitz, and currently, he was being... operated on, in a sense. Nothing was being taken out, nor being put in. The machine in question with its many limbs and contraptions was merely poking about, and analyzing Blitz's construct data, memory banks, basic to advanced abilities, etc... But where was Nega? Surely such a man would have been present for this particular deed...? Oh, there he was. Coming out from a hole in a floor, being pushed upwards carefully via platform. The mad doctor simply gazed at the robotic figure, laying defenseless and nonoperational upon the table as his device continued to put together strings of data, recording any and all findings during the analyzing of Blitz... ... Eventually, he got bored of simply watching and kicked the table gently. Thus, Blitz was now capable of "waking up", and the doctor simply waited until he had done so.8

Only a moment or two after Nega kicked the table, the feline android's eyes slowly opened, blinking against the light mounted in the ceiling. Unlike earlier, Blitz's systems, although they'd been shut down, had possessed enough power to finish activating ALL his cognitive functions... including emotion. The first of which he got to experience being... confusion. He didn't recognize where he was as he experimentally tugged against his bonds. Judging from the machine above him, SOMEONE was poking around in his insides. ... Which was not good. "Where... am I?"

"Ah! You have awakened... Lovely, yes... Your current location will simply be known as "home". THIS... is your new home. And you, my little hostage, belong to me, Dr. Eggman Nega! It only makes sense, after all, given you seem to be composed of parts scrapped together from -mine- own technologies..." The doctor strode around the table, eying the android while the device that had been analyzing his insides began to back off, ceasing its... pokery. "From the information that has been gathered, I can't be quite sure of the estimate, but you appear to be composed of... 50% of my own machinery. The numbers are still jostling about, but this is as close to an estimate as I can figure... Very interesting, that Soleanna seems to be making attempts to catch up to me... How very unfortunate that I will never be surpassed! Ha ha! Ha!" He paused, and glanced down at the android, raising a brow as he leaned closer... "So, do tell me... everything you might know about the going-ons in that R&D department. Whatever you refuse to tell me, I will simply yank it out of your memory banks regardless. This is merely a test to see just where your loyalties -lie-... Pity for you if the answer isn't what I seek."

The android just shrugged. "Sorry to disappoint you, Doctor, but I don't know much, except for my function... Which is to hunt you down." The last came out in a growl as Blitz tried to free himself from the table he was strapped to, before he became curious about if his weaponry was still online. Because if it WAS, he might just have a chance to get out of here, possibly completing his mission in the process. "After all, you're the one that caused me to be activated for the first time. ... Some test run."

Unfortunately for the Blitz one, his weaponry was nice and safe off in another area of the laboratory, in plain sight as a number of Nega's 'helpers' were in the process of deconstructing/analyzing/updating bits and pieces, monitors not too far away displaying pages of information in regards to the objects.. The doctor simply huffed and began pacing around his new possession.. "So, they really thought that they could simply send some little toy after me... How cute! Especially since half of you belongs to me, officially... Laughable, the lot of them... Unfortunately for them, your purpose is due to change. You will no longer be used to hunt -myself- down, but rather, your mission shall be to take down those who stand in my way! If there is anyone in particular who continues to be a thorn in my side... It will then be your duty to correct it. My own 'assassin for hire', as it were... It sounds like such a lovely idea, doesn't it...? Ha ha ha..." His glasses gave off a sinister reflection of light as he looked the robot over, still chuckling to himself at the mere thought of his plans... Whether Blitz wished for it or not, he was more than likely going to have... issues getting out of this without some tampering from the doctor..

With another growl, Blitz attempted to pull free of his bonds, spying his energy blades resting some distance away. Ok, so he was unarmed. And they were doing something to his blades. Great. But it looked like, from that data on the screen, they were... upgrading them? Hm. Glancing at the doctor, his eyes narrowed, seeming to flash. Hopefully, the doctor had underestimated the power of his Sol Drive. If her put it at max output, maybe he could break free. With that goal in mind... he got to work. Sol Drive: Approaching maximum output. Rerouting energy to arm and leg servos."I don't think so, Doc... I've got better plans in mind." And with that, he PULLED, hoping to simply break his bonds. [dice=6] The doctor grunted as he noticed that... well... those bonds that were keeping the android held in place didn't seem to be doing such a hot job anymore. "S-stupid..! I forgot to take out his..!" Nega growled to himself as he ran over to another station nearby, and threw a lever down. As Blitz began to stand, another set of steel wires practically flew out of the floor below his table, and attempted to constrict him within their grasp. [dice=6] "You're not just going to break out -that- easily!"[rand=63371177303398878360242949699533102357139481650266391376711418599]

[dice=6] "Gonna have to disagree with you there, Nega!" The wires wound up snapping at empty air as the android leaped off the table, landing in front of the 'good' doctor. With a smirk, he dashed for his weaponry, knowing they were modular, so -hopefully-, he could reattach them. THEN he'd deal with the doctor. Of course, he'd have to get past those 'assistants' first. [dice=6] And, of course, while they attempted to gun him down, and throw miscellaneous tools at the android, the former attempts proved to be quite unsuccessful, as Blitz gained well enough of an upper hand to plow through them like a bunch of bowling pins. What was Nega's first inclination after witnessing this attempt of a revolt? It was quite simple really. They didn't call him the man of a thousand plans for nothing! For as Blitz rushed for the updated weaponry, there was one thing in particular that was added to their latest upgrading that made them... special. And that was, in fact, the addition of self-destructing devices on the offchance that, while wearing them, should his newly acquired toy attempt to 'betray' him, would only be destined to get taken care of in a heartbeat. And so... what else need be said? The destructive doctor simply pulled out a remote, and hit the essential switch as Blitz was within reach of the weapons he sought out. [dice=6] The android was nearly caught in the blast, dashing back again with an audible growl. He then turns towards the doctor, his eyes narrowed, and flashing again. His hands clench into fists so tight that a person could hear the whine of the servos in his arms, before he was a blur, heading STRAIGHT for Nega with a fist rearing back. [dice=6] Before the doctor had any real chance to 'evade' the incoming attack, his next best option was to bring up both hands that would 'catch' the android that was about to slam into him... Alas, a stalemate in power...! ... Wait, what? As Blitz would take note, his fist had almost but -stopped- right as it had contacted the doctor's palms, though that wasn't to say that Nega -didn't- feel the shock of the blow -- He -had- been pushed back a foot or so, but it was pretty clear something... was -not- right with this picture. With a frazzled, mustache, the doctor simply grinned maniacally as he followed through with an explanation, something that would define the use of... the odd, rectangular devices attached to the palms of his gloves... "Thank you, Blitz... I'm disappointed in this path you've chosen, despite what I was to offer you... But I thank you, anyway. For you see, I get to test a new device I've been working on in case it came to this, a classic form of fisticuffs...! The devices you've struck... are meant to absorb the blunt force of such an impact as this hard-hitting punch...! Though, it doesn't quite protect oneself 100%... it's enough to keep it from completely harming the recipient! But my -favorite- part... is that you can send the blow right -BACK!-" The doctor cackled as he brought his arms back, and then quickly -thrusted- both palms forward -- quite an unexpected feat, physically, from an older gentlmen as himself -- regardless, the result was a sudden burst of energy, one which held about 75% of the force of a Blitz punch..! And he was about to take it in the face.[rand=5012531613311353500061095380466785206385543995828940547850095459]

Blitz's eyes widened, and his processors had begun whirring, trying to figure out how an organic managed to stop his punch, until her heard the doctor's explanation... and his ears folded back. "Doesn't that just... wait. What?" Of course, the doctor's last comment finally registered... about sending the blow BACK. Just before he was sent hurtling across the room. In midair, time seemed to slow down for the android, as his 'reflexes' started kicking in. Tragetory calculated. Acceptable deflection point locked. Initiating 'Ukemi' maneuver. Suddenly, Blitz was whirling around, until he hit the far wall, both legs, and one hand hitting the surface as he displaced the impact... before he braced his legs 'under' himself, and sprung towards the doctor again. "Bet you can't do that AGAIN!" [dice=6][rand=218585974633144108014293153528283024982524428639201164823828005]

[dice=6] The doctor grinned widely as he allowed but a single palm to catch the next strike. Granted, it pushed him back a bit more, and he grit his teeth under the added strain, but regardless, he held firm, much to the android's irritation, no doubt. "Looks like you lost that wager, my friend! Have another!" The doctor then spun on his heel once, bringing his loaded palm into Blitz's chest for another launching of an absorbed blow! [dice=6] This time, the android was ready, and dodged to the side, smirking as Nega's hand passed harmlessly by, only a few inches from his chest. Just as Blitz grabbed his arm. "Y'know, flying with just momentum's kinda fun. You should try it." And with that, the android, with something sounding like a roar, proceeded to THROW Nega across the room, using the doctor's momentum from his attempted blow. And his target? The same spot HE'D just hit.[rand=78067400848710393956244634273778269392568822365424976130505108]

That.... that wasn't how it was supposed to happen..!Nega didn't really have much time to utter that thought to himself before his body -slammed- right into the wall, the doctor sprawled-out upside-down from the resulting impact. It did quite a number on him, really, so much so that his arms and legs promptly -exploded- from his egg-shaped frame! ... ... ... What? ... The pieces of Nega all clattered to the floor, his arm and leg extensions sparking continuously, and as the remnants fell to the floor, even his -head- rolled off, and continued to do so until it reached Blitz's feet. Creepy as this might have been, it didn't stop there -- His jaw whiiiiirred as it opened wide, before it encompassed the size of a small monitor. And that is where an holographic image appeared, with the face of another Nega within it, who was clearly alive and well. ... But, of course. "Come now, Blitz -- A machine designed to destroy me, and you think I would actually be foolish enough to appear to you in person? I am Dr. Eggman-Nega! I always plan ahead, you see -- which is exactly why, regardless of how close your creators come to reaching my level of genius, you will all continue to remain in my shadow alongside your petty efforts!" He chuckled, before leering at the android, who was no doubt watching the feed intently by this point. "Since you are truly intent on siding with those who wish to see me fall, you are granted my permission to take your leave. I have gathered all of the information I require, and I no longer feel the need to house such inferior equipment! However... You have earned yourself a spot on my #1 list for those who I -will- take out first on my path to conquest. My army will be sure to take good care of you the moment you let your guard down..." With a hearty laugh (that was, no doubt, hiding a bit of a growl), he spun on his heel, turning his back to Blitz, clearing his throught once he was finished. "You may go... Though, the question -still- remains upon if you can make it out of here... as it starts to self-destruct." With the yank of a lever nearby, not a moment passed before the entire base began to rumble... it wasn't too long before pieces began to rain down from the ceiling above the android's head, and an alarm began to sound... Rock started to crumble, and metal began to rip as the entire underground base prepared to cave in on itself due to a series of explosions from within the bedrock. "... Fare thee well, Blitz. You were... interesting to examine, though all in all, not entirely worth my time..." He turned his head to the side slightly, his glasses shining with a sinister gleam.. "Just remember -- I am the Doctor who holds a Thousand Plans... You will never win." With that, the transmission finished, and the little Nega-head promptly exploded, sending miniature bits of shrapnel everywhere. Of course, there was no doubt that Blitz had -other- worries to contend with, given that the base was starting to blow up, and fall apart all around him. Crap.

The android, a bit startled when the doctor... fell apart, took a cautious step back his eyes narrowing as the doctor's message began... only to widen when Nega pulled a switch. He was already looking for an escape route, when he spied the discarded arms of the "Mecha-Nega"... And grinned. Begin playing this about now.A few moments later, Blitz was adjusting the "Force Reflectors" as he'd personally dubbed them on his own arms, and then taking off towards a hallway, the door opened by falling debris. ------------------------------------------------------ This isn't to say he had an easy time of heading out of the collapsing base. But he DID give the Reflectors a warm-up, using the force of falling chunks of base, to open his path onward, quickly finding out a drawback... these things had some -nasty- feedback. But with some practice, he'd get used to using them. After all, he didn't have his blades anymore. ------------------------------------------------------- Finally, from outside the base, one could see the complex collapsing onto itself in a massive pile of rubble... It seemed Blitz hadn't been fast enough. Until a plume of dust shot out of the dust cloud forming from the collapse.... trailing behind a very dirty, banged up android feline. "WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!"

With that, the remainder of the once-proud city of Nega lay in smoldering rubble... Granted, the self-destruction was no doubt... -extreme- on the Doctor's part... But this maneuver was a large sign in of itself that he had run out of plans in this particular event...
As the beacon of sunlight drenched the now-free android, it also shone upon Negatropolis' remnants, bringing reminder to the fact that, no matter the cost, Dr. Eggman-Nega was sure to try -anything- to ensure his victory.
...
Of course, given that Blitz made it out with two lovely new toys, it was certain that Nega hadn't won -every- aspect of this battle.
Regardless, it was painstakingly clear -- Eggman-Nega definitely had no plans of ceasing his plans for world conquest anytime soon... If ever. Now that he was aware of the advancements in Sol technology...
Was it possible that he couldn't help but feel... slightly intimidated...?
Who could say...?
Also, there was no doubt that Nega was -never- in this base, and with its destruction, it'd be useless to redirect Sol forces to this location to find him...
So, obviously, that one question was still in the air...
Where was he now...?
