The black and white tenrec raised a brow. Yeah, very suspicious things going on here. Not to mention Leedz was upset. Whoever Whitey was, they weren't good news. Maybe she'd mug him when he left the room... but for now, she'd take the rabbit's suggestion, taking a step out the room to fume a bit. Dash... meanwhile... was still off in his own little world.

@leda@ Leda let out a short sigh of relief. Nothing to get the blood pumping like the wrath of a protective best friend, to be sure. As her adrenaline backed down, the pangolin turned her attention back to her albino companion, and gently rubbed his shoulder. "Whew, close one.... How're you doing, Dash?"

Having left the room, Raki gave one last furtive glance to the hospital room before giving Bunnie a look and a nod towards said room. "Who was that?" Dash didn't reply, and instead he continued on as he had been, clinging to the girl and weeping. The thought probably occurred to him at some point or another he should stop this, as he didn't even know this girl and it was rather unbecoming of him to cry let alone cry all over her but... the thought was quickly overshadowed and swept away by his emotional distress. And Bogert? He was feeling rather uncomfortable at the moment himself. Was behavior like this normal? Should he step in?

Bunnie glanced over at Raki, looking uncharacteristically distressed as she glanced between the tenrec and the door a couple times then looked away, biting down on her lip and wondering how best to answer. After a moment she finally swallowed hard at the lump in her throat. " Um. Tade. Friend of hers."

@leda@ Leda Rae frowned and continued to gently pet the tenrec in her arms. Whatever had happened to him must have been absolutely horrible. She still longed to know what he'd been through and why he was white, but now clearly was not the time for that. Feeling a little stronger than before, the pangolin tightened her arms around him and whispered, "Take solace in my bossoms. It's alright... Take as long as you need. You'll feel better when it's done."

(Time skip approved, so lets go on with it) For quite awhile, Raki waited outside, occasionally peeking in to make sure things were alright. However, that guy just kept crying and crying and crying. Seriously. What the heck was wrong with him? Eventually, however, things quieted down. Peeking in once again, it appeared whoever the stranger was had fallen asleep... on Leedz's bed. And sucking his thumb. And Leedz seemed to be on her way to slumber-land as well... And Bogert? Sitting in a chair in the corner looking confused. Deciding things were 'safe' enough now, Raki wandered in, grimacing. "So is he done crying like a baby now or do I need to get him a diaper change or something?"

@leda@ Without so much as opening her eyes, Leedz flipped her off snuggled more closely into Dash and mumbled, "Get bent."

Bunnie poked her head in after Raki to investigate, but didn't speak.

Raki smirked slightly. Obviously Leedz must not be too upset if she can give a comeback like that. Pointing at the white and spiney figure curled up on the hospital bed sucking his thumb, Raki asked, "Do you know this guy?

Well now. That was a question fraught with peril. Deeb still hadn't seemed to recognize him as Dash, which was probably why she still failed to pummel the ever living out of him. Although the fact that Leda Rae had now taken to cuddling up against was probably also very revealing. There seemed to be no safe way to answer the question. So instead, Leedz eventually settled with the simplest response that also avoided lying. "Yes."

Raki raised a brow. If there was anything she could tell, it was when Leedz was avoiding telling her something. "... and?"

"........" Frantic thinking. ". . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . ." Escalating to panicked thinking. ". . . . . . . . . . . . . ."... ..... ............ .......................... "He's a friend."

At that, one of Deeb's eyebrows migrated skywards. "... you're not acting suspicious at all." Before she could question further, there was a creak as Bogert got up from his chair, then briskly walked towards and out the door. Raki turned slightly as he left, brow apparently quite comfortable where it was. "... and what's his problem?"

Bunnie glanced at him as he walked past her. "... Bogert, hon?"

@leda@ Okay, so Raki had a point there. But that didn't mean she had to admit to it. Hell, she didn't even have to acknowledge it! Leda Rae disregarded her roommate's comment and remained content to snuggle the albino tenrec.

Bogert seemed not to notice Bunnie's question, and instead continued to power-walk (oh yes) down the hospital hallway, off to destinations unknown. Or maybe outside. Yeah. Maybe he was going outside. "... I guess he had something to take care of. ANYWAY..." distraction gone, Raki took to glaring at Leedz. "Tell."

Bunnie pressed her lips together as Bogert ignored her and continued on his way. For a moment she debated mentally whether or not to follow after him. In the end, she stepped into the room and slunk herself down into a vacant seat.

@leda@ Unfortunately for Raki, glaring only works when the recipient can see (or at least sense) your eyes piercing into them. Leda Rae may have been a psychic, but she was a lousy one, and remained blissfully ignorant as she continued to snuzzle up to Dash.
".....But I already told you," she eventually replied, unable to think of anything better that also sidestepped fibbing. Leedz could be a compulsive liar if she really wanted to be, but Deeb Rec was someone she could never bring herself to be dishonest to. Which made her incredibly difficult to keep secrets from 99% of the time.

"'He's a friend' doesn't answer anything", retorted Raki, crossing her arms and giving the pangolin a stern look. And Dash? Still asleep.

Having heard just about enough from the two, Bunnie finally rose up and approached Raki, giving her a gentle tug on the arm. "Ah, Raki? Think Ah can get a word alone with Leda-girl here?"

Raki stared at Bunnie a moment, as if considering her request. Once said moment expired, she simply shrugged, making her way to the door. "Alrighty then...", she stated, more to herself then to Bunnie. As Raki stepped out the door, she added, as if in passing, "People sure are acting weird lately..." And she was gone.

Bunnie stood there quietly for a minute after Raki had left, just holding her hands clasped in front of her torso in unsure thought. Then, with a glance over to Leda, wandered over and sat down on the side of the bed opposite of Dash. She kept her back partially turned to the pangolin, instead studying over the tenrec beside her. She looked uncharacteristically sullen. "So, any idea when they'll be releasin' ya'll?" she finally asked.

@leda@ "No," Leda Rae replied in a slightly muffled mumble. "I only woke up a little while ago, and none of the doctors have come to see me. Maybe Raki knows..."
The truth? Yes. An attempt to get rid of the last set of prying eyes? Possibly that too.

"Ah... Ah see," was all she said. She continued to zero in her focus on Dash, tilting her head to one side as she studied him carefully. Her artistic eye couldn't help but notice how less pronounced his features seemed without their original colors. However, without those original colors to help mask, the white only served to emphasize the redness of his face from how hard and long he had wept earlier. Slowly she stretched her flesh hand out toward him, gently stroking the top of his head. " He seems to have been through a lot."

@leda@ Leedz opened her eyes and frowned. "Yeah... He got so upset he couldn't even tell me what happened. It must have been really bad this time, though... I wish he could leave that accursed organization." With a mum sigh, the pangolin rested her cheek on Dash's shoulder.

The rabbit's mouth pursed with uncertainty, and mentally she began debating on whether or not to speak any further - and how she would even begin to do so. Then again, was it really her business? It was sounding to her like Leda might not understand who this tenrec really was... heck, she didn't really fully understand it herself. And knowing the pangolin's tendency to overreact... She inwardly sighed, her hand trailing over to Dash's ear and gently scritching at its back.

At ever-so-pleasant sensation of ear scratchings brought a smile to the tenrec's face, despite his unconsciousness. And in fact, he seemed to enjoy it so much that his leg began kicking, not too unlike a happy dog's.If he were to be told of this later, he'd probably be quite embarrassed.

@leda@ "................................."
Leedz stared at the display silently for several moments before she finally snerked. That was.... far too cute for words. She was sure she'd heard before that outward ears were sensitive, but she hadn't expected that kind of sensitivity. Eventually she just smirked to herself and silently thought, I'll have to keep that in mind.

Bunnie blinked, drawing her hand back in surprise. Unable to help herself she smiled and then cupped a hand over her mouth, giggling softly. "Well, Ah guess we know his magic button now,"

Apparently, however, Bunnie had set off a chain reaction... because now... he had an itch. An itch on his back. Where he was covered with spines. Of course, being unconscious at the time, he didn't really think about he was about to do- mainly, reach back and try to scratch his back. His spine covered back. Despite the hoody he was wearing, it didn't provide quite enough protection, and his fingers quickly met sharp points. Needless to say, he woke up fairly quickly. "YAAAUGH!"And then he fell off the bed in his startled-ness. And good times were had by all.
